Exactly how it works
- Geography you can track
- Any combination of up to 25 surgeries across England. You pick them by ticking them from a postcode search — not by a radius, so you can mix close-by and slightly further afield.
- Patient types you can filter for
- Adults, children, or both. Set per-watchlist, not per-surgery. We email when any matching status change is seen.
- How quickly you'll hear
- Within hours of the NHS data refresh, not minutes — this is email, not push. Our quick partial sync polls the NHS feed every 2 hours; if a status flips at 09:00, the email goes out 09:00–11:00 most days.
- What we never do
- Send SMS (no number kept on file), call you, share your email, or charge a card. The alert system has no payment integration at all.
- Unsubscribe
- Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link that removes you from the entire watchlist. There is no "pause", no "are you sure" flow, no "why are you leaving" survey. You click, you're out.
- What we keep
- Your email + the IDs of the surgeries you watch. Nothing else. No name, no postcode of residence (only the postcodes you searched for, not where you live).
Why this beats ringing round
- Surgeries open and close their NHS lists multiple times a year, often without updating their own websites.
- The NHS "Find a Dentist" tool flags "accepting" based on a self-report some surgeries haven't refreshed in over a year.
- Ringing 20 places every week is not realistic. Our nightly NHS sync + 12×/day partial sync makes that work happen in the background.
What you'll receive

How much does it cost?
Free. The service is free for patients and we do not plan to charge for it. The site is funded by display advertising; ads never affect which surgeries appear in alerts.
